FAQ

Do you travel for photoshoots?

Yes—Charlotte frequently photographs across Montana, California, Virginia, and the East Coast, and is available for destination weddings and elopements worldwide. Glacier National Park is a frequent setting for intimate celebrations.

Travel is arranged based on location, with a travel fee applied to certain destinations. Select locations may include reduced or waived travel considerations depending on the commission. Please inquire for details based on your plans.

Do you help with posing or guidance?

Yes. Sessions and wedding coverage are a balance of natural observation and gentle direction. Through thoughtful guidance and fun prompts, I help create genuine moments while ensuring you feel comfortable and at ease. While much of my work is rooted in documenting moments as they unfold, I also love incorporating timeless family photographs and portraits when they are meaningful to your vision.

Do you photograph elopements and intimate weddings?

Absolutely. I photograph both elopements and intimate weddings, and I love documenting celebrations in meaningful places—whether that's a mountain overlook in Glacier National Park, a quiet stretch of coastline, or a destination that holds significance to your story. From the American West to the East Coast and beyond, I'm always excited to travel for couples who feel most at home in beautiful outdoor settings and want an experience rooted in adventure, connection, and intention.

What if it rains?

Rain, shine, storm, or snow—if a wedding cannot be rescheduled, we move forward as planned. With years of experience photographing in Montana’s unpredictable weather, I’ve learned that some of the most beautiful and unexpected imagery often comes from changing conditions. I come fully prepared for all environments, ensuring your day is documented beautifully, no matter what the forecast brings.

Images are delivered through a private online gallery sent directly to you, with a shareable link for friends and family to view and save selected photographs if you choose.

Galleries are typically delivered within 3–4 weeks, with a 48-hour preview of highlights.

How far in advance should we book?

Weddings and portrait sessions are booked throughout the year, with availability varying by season. Whether you're planning well in advance or looking for a session this summer, I'd love to hear more about what you're envisioning.
